A Southern Minnesota man is up for top honors in a National Mullet Contest run online, and if he's picked, he's taking home some cash and prizes, and of course the honor of best mullet in the USA.

Curtis Wilson, of Austin Minnesota, has made the top-25 in the National Mullet Championships on the website mulletchamp.com. If Wilson gets the top number of votes for his serious salad, he's walking away with $2,500 and a whole host of prizes. But he's got some serious competition.

Surprisingly or not to many of us, the state of Wisconsin has the most contestants remaining in the top-25, Wilson is the lone Minnesota entrant in a contest that ends on Sunday for adults.
