Time for our adoptable pet of the week, this week we are featuring Walter again, as it seems after nearly TWO years this sweet cat is still available! Who is willing to give this found cat a forever home, and plenty of time and attention?

Our friend and volunteer at the Mower County Humane Society in Austin has more on Walter, including his backstory for this patient cat who is simply waiting for a home to share and call his own. Will it be yours?

Walter is an adult cat of about 10 years of age and was found in Lyle, MN after he was brought in by a concerned citizen during a snow storm. Walter had been outside for a while as he was very malnourished and had a wound on his back. Even though he had a rough life on the streets it didn’t harden him one bit! Walter is one of the sweetest guys who is so excited about the possibility of a family and forever love.

If you are ready and willing to give Walter a home, you can adopt him for $50 with an approved application from the Mower County Humane Society.  All adoption fees include age-appropriate vetting, testing, and alteration! So that $50 dollars for Walter means he is ready to go home!

If you are approved for adopting an animal, you will need to bring a pet carrier and or a leash with you to pick up your new companion, and you also have to be at least 18-years-old.

So how about we get this cute cat a home this week?

Adoption update from two weeks ago, congratulations friends we ended up getting Moe adopted!

There was interest in Moe from as far away as Seattle! Thank you all for sharing our posts, and helping to find these animals a forever home!
