Amazing! This Adoptable Minnesota Cat Has It’s Name Written Onto His Side!
It had to have been a sign to name Ned, well Ned. I mean it's 'written' onto his side! Look at how this adoptable cat from the Mower County Humane Society has 'NED' written along his side.
Ned has had a rough couple of days at the shelter as he had to have much of his tail amputated, but it doesn't seem to be phasing him as he seems to still enjoy the attention he is getting!
How does Ned, have 'NED' 'written' on him with his markings? Is it normal?
"Most cats are born with some pattern or marking on their fur, but some cats are born with unique markings that coincidentally look like something else. It's a one in a million chance, but considering that there are around 600 million (probably many more) cats in the world, it's no surprise."
What's pretty awesome is that his current caretakers have taken these markings to heart and embraced his uniqueness and have him the appropriate name, Ned.
Ned will be available for adoption soon, if you have questions about him, you can reach out to the Mower County Humane Society, by heading here.
Frank, who had been with the Mower County Humane Society since 2014, was recently adopted out, and our fingers are crossed that he will transition successfully and be able to have a relaxing and loving time as he lives out his life outside of the Humane Society!
