Perhaps the ultimate sign of spring--bear sightings in Minnesota. Minnesota's beautiful black bears are coming out of their winter hibernation and some of them are getting into a little bit of trouble.

Just ask the Itasca County Sheriff's office. Deputies were called in to rescue a bear cub and they wrote about the whole thing on their official Facebook account on Saturday, April 3.

They wrote, "in our down time we continue to help the local wildlife. This little buy was in distress with no mother located and K9 Sgt. Leaclair, and Deputy Bothma were able to corral this guy and get him to local DNR that got him to a rehab facility."

The photo shows both Sgt. Leaclair and Deputy Bothma holding the bear cub in their hands with big smiles on their faces. The bear is so adorable. The bear is about as big as a medium sized dog and so very furry.

Since the two photos were shared online, the post has generated dozens of reactions from people in the community.

Angela Roehl wrote, "way to go guys!"

JoEllen Kimme simplyl said, "Thank you!"

Alexander James joked, "weirdest lookin dog I've ever seen."

Deputies didn't go into detail about how the bear may have been separated from its mother but they did say they were bringing him to a rehab facility.
