Dakota County Man Headed to Federal Prison For Making Child Porn
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Dakota County man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for the production of child pornography.
34-year-old Antonio Maldonado earlier admitted using his cell phone to take sexually explicit photographs while sexually abusing a minor over multiple years. The Inver Grove Heights man pleaded guilty to one count of production and one count of attempted production of child pornography.
A news release from the US Attorney for Minnesota says Maldonado was also convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in state court and was given a concurrent prison sentence of 172 months. Following the completion of his prison sentence, Maldonado will be on supervised release for an additional 15 years.
