Company Is Hiring Chocolate Taster. Who in Their Acne-Filled Mind Wouldn’t Want That Job?
This is one sweet gig.
Mondelez International, which makes such iconic treats as Cadbury and Oreo, is hiring a chocolate and cocoa beverage taster.
This job sounds like a pure nougat-filled delight. Heck, the first responsibility in the ad is to "be able to taste chocolate and cocoa beverage products and give objective and honest feedback," while some of the requirements are "a passion for confectionary and taste buds for detection," "honesty when it comes to giving an opinion" and "a firm grasp of the English Language." All that means is you need to have the ability to say, "This chocolate bar is exceedingly delicious."
The job, based in Britain, is only part-time, requiring the ideal candidate to chomp down on chocolate Tuesday-Thursday from 12:15 p.m.-2.45 p.m.
As if getting paid to eat chocolate isn't enough of a selling point, there's even more about this position to love. According to the ad, "In return for your commitment, drive and enthusiasm, we offer an attractive benefits package within a highly successful International business that offers financial rewards and resources, including bonus scheme, contributory pension, life assurance, generous holiday allowance and a flexible benefits programme."
Wait, what? You get benefits?! So, you'll have insurance that will cover all the insulin injections you're going to need after getting diabetic. This is officially better than any high-paying gig and we have a hunch a lot of people are going to apply.
