‘Christmas’ Comes Early to Little Theatre of Owatonna
Little Theatre of Owatonna presents 'A Tuna Christmas' this December, opening on Friday, December 4 and running for two weekends. This presentation was a switch from the original schedule to have a smaller cast and allow for better health protocols. LTO recently announced the cast, through a press release in the Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism's Tuesday Talk e-newsletter.
Cast members include Terry Duncan (Arles), Ron Hager (Thurston), Hank Bell (Jody/Stanley), Kathy Durand (Bertha), and Gail Thompson (Dixie). Each member will cover other roles as well.
The premise of "A Tuna Christmas" according to the news release, centers around a Texas radio station as it reports "on various Yuletide activities, including the hot competition in the annual lawn-display contest."
Ticket sales begin November 21 online at the Little Theatre of Owatonna website and at their remote ticket location at Tri-M Graphics in Owatonna. The box office at LTO opens November 30, the week of the performance. Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students. LTO has taken health protocols in light of the pandemic in order to allow for an audience at their West Hills theater.
