Blooming Prairie Cancer Auction Nearing

The annual Blooming Prairie Cancer Auction is set for Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7 under the big top in downtown Blooming Prairie. The auction starts at 7pm both nights.

On Saturday there are a number of other activities put on by the Blooming Prairie Cancer Group. The 5K Run Over Cancer begins at 10am with registration starting at 9am in the city park. The Cut for a Cure takes place 9-1pm in the park with low priced hair cuts along with massages, manicures, games, face painting and more. At 4:30pm it's Family Bingo time followed by the Stix of Fury at 6:30pm leading up to the 7pm auction.

If you have items to donate for the auction, drop them off at Krejci Ford or the Pizza Cellar in Blooming Prairie. Proceeds raised go towards the fight against canceer.
