“Back to the Future 2″ to be Presented July 17 in Owatonna’s Central Park
The future has arrived for fans of the "Back to the Future" movies. Owatonna Parks and Recreation presents "Back to the Future 2" in Central Park Friday night July 17.
Set in 1985, Doc and Marty travel back to 2015 to fix things that got messed up in the original. It stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The two keep running into their future selves while trying to fix the future. Check out the rottentomatoes.com review and ratings.
Friday night's presentation is the second movie in the park feature this summer hosted by Owatonna Parks and Recreation. It is also the start of Owatonna's Weekend Out which includes events Saturday and Sunday.
The movie Friday night begins around 8:30PM in Central Park. Concessions will be available. Bring your own blankets and chairs. There is no charge to attend.
Saturday's events include yoga at Lake Kohlmier Beach from 8:30AM to 9:15AM, pickleball for the whole family from 10AM to 12PM at the Morehouse Courts, and kayaking at Lake Kohlmier from 1 to 4PM. Meet on the southeast side of the lake by the island. All events are free. Kayaks, paddles and life jackets will be provided.
The Sunday July 19 special is reduced price admission to the River Springs Water Park.
