In what could be the first major step to seeing Professional Sports return, Arizona has announced that sports can resume starting Saturday.

It would be, at this point in time, according to the CDC guidelines, without fans. We could do that safely in the state of Arizona beginning May 16.

According to a report from ESPN, on Tuesday Arizona's Governor, Doug Ducey has said that pro sports could resume in the state but with out fans. This decision is a step in the right direction for the MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL. Ducey has been in contact with the different Leagues Commissioners about the decision, but it has not been stated which Leagues they are.

The NBA and NHL have been looking to neutral sites to resume and finish their seasons and with Arizona allowing the return of sports, this may become a possibility. MLB as also juggled with this idea as well.
