$1,000,000 Minnesota Powerball Ticket Turned In
Roseville, MN ( KROC AM News) - The winner of a large Powerball prize that was recently won in northeast Minnesota has come forward.
The lucky ticket was sold at a convenience store in Aitkin for the May 6th Powerball drawing. It matched all the numbers but the powerball to win a second-place prize worth $1,000,000.
According to the Minnesota State Lottery, the winning ticket was turned in by Dale Hammond of Aitkin.
The lottery has also announced a North Branch woman was a recent winner of a $500,000 lottery prize. April Schneider won the prize playing the $500,000 Riches game.
