5 Great Tournaments in Owatonna This Summer
Whether you're chasing a little white ball around a golf course, cheering on teams trying to smash a softball over the fence, or trying to hit a bouncy, fuzzy, yellow ball over a net, there are some great events to play in or watch this summer in Owatonna. Many of them support local causes with their proceeds.
The delayed Corky's Early Bird Men's Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will be held Thursday, July 29 through Sunday, August 1 in Owatonna. The event features about 200 teams. The tournament has raised money for the Owatonna Parks and Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund and the We All Play inclusive playground project in the past.
The seventh annual Owatonna Tennis Tournament is July 30 through August 1 at the Owatonna High School outdoor tennis courts. If there is rain, the event will shift to West Hills. Owatonna Young Life hosts their 41st annual golf tournament Friday, August 20 at Owatonna Country Club. The early bird deadline is July 31 to get the Polar Camel water bottle gift.
The 4th annual Dudley Otto Golf Classic to benefit the Owatonna Huskies Blue Line Club is September 18 at Brooktree Golf Course.
