Whether you're chasing a little white ball around a golf course, cheering on teams trying to smash a softball over the fence, or trying to hit a bouncy, fuzzy, yellow ball over a net, there are some great events to play in or watch this summer in Owatonna. Many of them support local causes with their proceeds.

The delayed Corky's Early Bird Men's Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will be held Thursday, July 29 through Sunday, August 1 in Owatonna. The event features about 200 teams. The tournament has raised money for the Owatonna Parks and Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund and the We All Play inclusive playground project in the past.
