The State Patrol says the truck was parked on the side of the highway when it was hit by the vehicle. The road was covered with ice and snow but the accident report doesn’t indicate if that played a role in the wreck.

The driver of the vehicle was 29-year-old Kendra Leigh Atherton-Guenther of Winona. The driver of the truck was identified as a man from Georgia. He was not hurt.

The wreck happened near the same site where a deadly crash occurred last Saturday when a pickup truck driven by a suspected DUI driver going the wrong way collided with a car, killing a 22-year-old woman.
