Guy Fieri Brings Flavortown Restaurants To Minnesota
Flavortown has come to Minnesota. Guy Fieri, a celebrity chef and TV host, owns several restaurants around the country including two new spots here in the land of 10,000 lakes.
My wife and I will binge Diners Drive-Ins and Dives on The Food Network from time to time and we've even sought out some of the restaurants featured on the show. You can see all of the Minnesota restaurants that have been showcased on The Food Network below and learn about Ferri's Minnesota restaurants.
Guy Fieri's Minnesota Restaurants
The food you get from Guy's Flavortown Kitchen is a lot like the food you would see featured on one of his shows. Check out the menu items below.
Guy Fieri has opened Flavortown Kitchens in St. Paul, Minneapolis, Edin Prairie, and two new locations in Burnsville, and Maple Grove. Now, these aren't your typical restaurants which is unfortunate because I imagine Guy has a ton of memorabilia that could be used to create a really cool atmosphere.
Guy Fieri's "Flavortown Kitchens" are ghost kitchens which means there isn't an actual restaurant to sit in. All orders are delivered. Check out what's on the menu below.

The restaurant's website shows over-the-top menu items (see below) like a giant bacon mac & cheeseburger, cheesesteak egg rolls, jalapeno pig poppers, and cajun chicken alfredo. Customers can also get salads and desserts.
I probably won't be making a drive to the Twin Cities to try a ghost kitchen, but I will check out Fieri's restaurant in the Mall of America when it finally opens. I first wrote about Chicken Guy back in 2019 then the pandemic hit. MOA's website still says it is coming soon.
According to their Facebook page, "Chicken Guy" will feature "signature sandwiches, chicken tenders (Crispy Fried or Grilled), salad bowls, shareable sides, Flavortown frozen treats, a kids menu, and gluten-free menu."
