Vikings/Falcons Game Doubtful After Atlanta’s Positive Test
Vikings are yet again playing the waiting game after another opponent has reported multiple positive COVID-19 test.
The Vikings are set to host Atlanta on Sunday but after many test came back with positive results, Atlanta has shut down their facilities as a safety precaution. ESPN's Adam Schefter was one of the first to report the shut down on Twitter. According to the NFL's COVID-19 safety protocol, Atlanta must now go two consecutive days with out a positive test before they are allowed back into their facilities. This includes both players and staff. Test results must also be clear before the Noon kick off on Sunday as well if they first hurdle is passed.
This isn't the first time the Vikings have had to wait and see if they would be playing on a Sunday or not. Their game against the Houston Texans in Week 4 was in jeopardy after multiple players and staff on the Tennessee Titans tested positive for COVID-19 after their week 3 match up with the Vikings.
