Man Arrested After Threatening Woman With Knife At Rochester Park

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman had a disturbing confrontation with a homeless man Tuesday.
Police say the 24-year-old woman was walking near the Silver Lake skateboard park around 1:30 PM when a man sitting on a bench threw a bicycle tire at her.
The woman says the man then threw a water bottle and hit one of her legs. She says he then threatened to stab her with a knife before riding away on a bike.
The woman called 911 and officers found the man under the nearby 11th Ave. bridge. He was arrested on assault charges.
The man was identified as 44-year-old Ryan Anderson.
