The Tour De Minnesota formerly known as Bike MS and TRAM will be stopping in Owatonna this summer. Bike MS is the largest fundraising bike series in the world. The event has raised more than $1 billion in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Nearly 100,000 cyclists take part each year.

Owatonna will play Host City for bike MS on Tuesday, July 17 at the Steele County Fairgrounds. Over 600 cyclists will be expected for a stopover before leaving the next day for their next destination. One of those destinations will be a 3 day ride option leaving Owatonna on July 18 for St. Peter riders will be shuttled back to Owatonna on July 20.

Other stops on the route in Southern Minnesota include Northfield, St. Peter and Waseca.
