Tough Loss to Red Wing For Falcon Girls

Neither team played super well. Neither team shot spectacularly, both teams had a scrappy. physical battle, but in "The Cage" in Red Wing on Friday nigh the Wingers held on and beat the Faribault Falcons 43-39.

Grace Amacher lead the falcons with 14. Grace and Megan Gehrke were the Faribault State Farm Insurance players of the game. The Falcons shot 12-26 from the two, 2-7 from the 3 and 9-16 from the free throw line. Red Wing was 10-27, 5-16 and 8-12.

Red Wing was lead by Lindsay Reps with 17.

Faribault (6-4) hosts Albert Lea on Tuesday and heads to Owatonna on Friday.
