Toro Recalls Snow Thrower for ‘Amputation’ Hazard
TORO SNOW THROWER RECALL
I'm pretty sure that I have a Toro Snow Thrower in my garage. However, it's not the model that is being recalled.
Toro has put out a nationwide recall of it's 2021 Toro Power Max 826 OHAE Snow thrower. There have been 5 reports of incidents related to the auger failing to disengage when the control lever is released. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.

HAZARD: The auger can fail to disengage when the control lever is released, posing an amputation hazard.
REMEDY: Repair.
Consumers should immediately stop using the Snow Thrower and contact a Toro authorized dealer for repair, by calling 1-833-254-8856.
Consumers who have purchased this Snow Thrower are being encouraged to immediately stop using the recalled Toro Power Max Snow thrower and contact a Toro authorized dealer for a free repair.
