Blooming Prairie football has a long, rich tradition. The recent success, including a state title and 28-game winning streak, adds to the legacy. Longtime Awesome Blossom coach Chad Gimbel spoke about the 14 seniors on the 2021 roster during a recent appearance on the AM 1390 KRFO Coaches Show.

Gimbel said, "This is one of the hardest times of the year. When you talk about an ending for this great group of seniors...It's an ending (for them) in Blooming Prairie football...These guys are all great individuals. I'm confident they're all going to go on and do better things than they've done here at Blooming Prairie."
