The Most Annoying Thing That Minnesota Truck Owners Do
Minnesotans love their trucks. Every year a study is done on the best-selling cars in every state. 2022’s report hasn’t been published yet, but in 2021 a pick-up truck was the top selling car here in Minnesota. Pick-ups actually made up 3 of the top 5 most popular cars for that year. The Chevrolet Silverado was most popular in our state with the F-150 taking second place.
Now, If you're one of the many truck owners here in the Land of 10,000 lakes you need to read the viral post below. More than 27,000 people have shared the simple request aimed at all truck owners.
I’m going to give truck owners the benefit of the doubt. A lot of people commenting on this post are referring to these truck owners as jerks or idiots. I’m going to assume that they’re not trying to be d-bags and they don't realize that they're being a nuisance.
More 27,000 people have shared and hundreds of people have commented on a simple request for truck drivers.
“Public Service Announcement: If you drive a truck, especially one with a trailer hitch, please remember to be considerate of those who need to use the sidewalks. I ask you to consider not backing up all the way to the sidewalk.”
Blocking the sidewalk with your trailer hitch is a jerk move. Don’t be that guy or girl.
The obstruction creates serious challenges for people with mobility issues, has left many with bruised shins, and is actually illegal in several Minnesota cities.
