The outside of these buildings may not look like much, but what the cooks can create inside is sure to blow your mind.

Few places in Minnesota truly deliver fresh, delicious seafood to their guests. Smack Shack, a popular Minneapolis establishment, is one such restaurant. In fact, their lobster rolls are some of the best in the entire Midwest.

The eatery originally started as a food truck back in 2010 but has now grown into a multiple location enterprise. Customers can find Smack Shacks in the North Loop, Bloomington, Roseville, and even at the MSP international airport.

Pictured below is the quaint, most-recent addition in Bloomington.

According to the Smack Shack website, "owner Josh Thoma had a great recipe and a belief that appetite for fresh lobster in the Twin Cities was as strong as any coastal city."

Thoma has proven that statement to be true as patrons flock from all over to enjoy his delectable meals.

From oysters to salmon to po'boys, this seafood restaurant keeps it all fresh, which isn't an easy feat when the nearest ocean is at least a day's drive away.

I personally think the lobster mac and cheese (pictured below) is to die for.

But naturally, when first visiting, it is only appropriate to try at least one of their lobster rolls, as that dish is what made them famous.
