Burnsville, MN (KROC-AM News) - Teenage siblings from Burnsville are now facing murder charges in connection with what authorities described as a deadly street racing incident earlier this year.

19-year-old Camille Dennis-Bond is charged with two counts of third-degree murder, two counts of criminal vehicular homicide, and one count of criminal vehicular operation for allegedly participating in a drag race on Highway 42 in Burnsville in early April that resulted in the deaths of 22-year-old Tayler Garza of Woodbury and 22-year-old Dalton Ford of Burnsville. The Dakota County Attorney's office says, because 18-year-old Leon Bond was 17 years old when the deadly incident occurred, he is facing the same charges in juvenile court.

The criminal complaint alleges the brother and sister were driving side-by-side at speeds close to 100 miles per hour around 10:30 on the morning of April 4th when the car driven by Leon Bond crashed into a vehicle attempting to cross Highway 42 and the collision caused the second vehicle to split in half. Dalton Ford was the driver of the vehicle and Tayler Garza was his passenger. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Leon Bond and his passenger were also injured in the crash. Court documents indicate the passenger had life-threatening injuries and will require significant future medical care.

Conditional bail for Camille Dennis-Bond was set at $75,000. Because her brother's case is being handled in the juvenile court system, his detention status is unknown.
