The College of Benedict and St. John's Track and Field meet scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Friday due to the expected rain and cooler weather forecasted for Saturday.
Tech High School is hosting an adapted or DAPE track and field event this Friday starting at 9:30 a.m. Approximately 100 DAPE students with various physical and cognitive disabilities will participate in events that include a softball throw, shot put, soccer kick, long jump, bowling ball toss, and high jump.
Owatonna junior Jason Williamson earned the MVP award at Saturday's Lakeville North mega meet. He won three events and was third in another as the Huskies won the 13-team meet they added to their schedule to replace one of their canceled dates.

The Maple River boys won the Gopher Conference track title Tuesday at United South Central. WEM took the girls crown. NRHEG was second in the standings for boys and girls.
