Randolph pitcher, freshman Carter Raymond fanned 14 Maple River Eagles hitters and walked notody in a 6-1 win at home.

Ten Winona batters came to the plate in the first inning as they scored 6 runs to take the commanding lead.

Randolph is scheduled to play Faribault Bethlehem Academy Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KDHL 920 AM, 97.9 FM and worldwide on KDHL app.

Northfied is 5-2 , 4-2 in Big Nine play. Mankato East is 3-3, 3-1 in league contests.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown travels to Tri-City United Friday for their next game.

Faribault hosts Mankato East Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. while Owatonna travels to Red Wing Thursday at 5:00 p.m. BA travels to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a 4:30 p.m. contest Thursday while Goodhue is back in the Hiawatha Valley League with a 5:00 p.m. game at Kasson-Mantorville.

Owatonna softball beat Austin in their playoff opener Wednesday, then lost to Hastings. Huskies baseball hosts Winona on Thursday to open the section playoffs.

Owatonna High School girls fast pitch softball goes to Hastings on Wednesday to open Section 1AAA play. They will face Austin at 3:30PM. The winner plays the Raiders at 5:30PM.
