Our KDHL AM Minnesota program is broadcasting all week from the Steele County Free Fair in Owatonna courtesy of Garlick's Water Conditioning of Faribault.  We did our traditional preview of the fair today from Fair Square Park with SCFF Vice President and Publicity Director Wayne Steele.

Most of our shows will be in Fair Square Park but we might venture elsewhere later in the week.  Steele highlighted many of the fair events but there is no way we could cover them all during the half hour program.

The SCFF officially starts 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13th with opening ceremonies in Fair Square Park.  There are events before the official opening including our Tuesday AM Minnesota show.

12:30 p.m. and Owatonna girl and her horse are being inducted into the Equine Hallf of Fame in the Cattle Show Arena.

No pets, bikes or skateboards are allowed on the fairgrounds.

I'm hoping to visit with the young woman being inducted into the Equine Hall of Fame and possibly the Human Cannonball or should I say "The Bullet Cannonball Smith" Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. on AM Minnesota.
