Southern Minnesota Graduations This Sunday

A number of area high schools will be holding graduation ceremonies this weekend. The Owatonna CHOICE Technical Academy will hold ceremonies on Saturday, June 3, at 1PM at the Pillsbury Campus Library.

The student speakers for the Owatonna High School graduation have been announced. They will be Grace Valen, the daughter of Jeff and Mieca Valen, and Ethan Dekam, the son of Jodie and the late Kyle Dekam. Grace plans on attending Augustana College. Ethan plans on attending St. John's University. The two were selected after competing with seven or eight other candidates. This year's OHS graduation will feature about 325 graduates, principal Mark Randall said. Randall was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town. Ceremonies are 2PM Sunday, June 4, at the Four Seasons Centre.

Other high school graduations on Sunday, June 4, at 2PM include NRHEG, Triton and Blooming Prairie.
