Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers were dispatched to the fast-food restaurant on Broadway Ave. South around midnight on Friday. The burglary is suspected to have occurred between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 4:50 a.m. Friday.

Moilanen said security footage shows a subject using a key to unlock the restaurant door. The suspect is then seen using a combination to open the safe and emptying the cash inside.

The burglar made off with about $1,000, Moilanen said. Officers say the key used by the burglar was left in the doorway and was determined to be a replica key. So far no arrests have been made.
