Reading and More at the Owatonna, Blooming Prairie Libraries

Owatonna and Blooming Prairie Libraries have many events during the summer for all ages. A reminder that the last Thursday of June, July and August will be a book fair.

Summer reading programs have started, remember to pick up one or many books. Blooming Prairie's meet from 10AM to noon on Mondays and Owatonna's meet on Wednesdays from 3-6PM.

Blooming Prairie Public Library has Summer Monday Movies at 2PM until August 29.

Wednesdays at Owatonna Library includes Gardening with LouAnn from 9-10AM and Adventure Club meets at 3PM.

June events include:

• Thursday (23): Mu Daiku Drummers in Owatonna 10AM and in Blooming Prairie at 1PM.
• Tuesday (28): Author Derek Anderson will be in Owatonna at 10AM.
• Wednesday (29): LEGO Mania from 10AM to noon in Owatonna.
• Thursday (30): Book Fair from 10AM to 6PM in Owatonna and from 1-4PM in Blooming Prairie.

Friday, July 1 from 1-3PM LEGO Mania will be in Blooming Prairie Library. Here are more events at the libraries in July:

• Thursday (7): Spins and Strings Yo-Yoing in Owatonna at 10AM and at 1PM in Blooming Prairie.
• Wednesday (13): Jim Jayes' Marionettes 10AM in Owatonna and 1PM in Blooming Prairie.
• Thursday (21): Magic shows -- Mystifying Magic 10AM in Owatonna and Greg the Magician in Blooming Prairie at 2:30PM.
• Thursday (28): Book Fair from 10AM to 6PM in Owatonna and from 1-4PM in Blooming Prairie.

Library events in August include:

• Thursday (11): Create-A-Craft from 10-11:30AM in Owatonna and Take-It-Apart in Blooming Prairie from 1-3PM both.
