Week four of the high school football season was marked by several "replacement games" as some teams had to cancel due to COVID. Southeast Minnesota teams played in several overtime games and other tight finishes. Weeks five and six will wrap up the regular season with section tournaments, but no state tournament, to follow.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE WEEK 5 SCHEDULE

Owatonna (3-1, 3-0) hosts Mankato West (4-0, 3-0) in a game to decide the Big Southeast, Red Division champion. The Huskies topped the Scarlets 24-20 in come-from-behind fashion in 2019. AM 1390 KRFO for Friday night's 7 pm kick off.

Blooming Prairie (3-0, 1-0) will miss their second straight game. The Awesome Blossoms were scheduled to entertain Kenyon-Wanamingo (3-0, 2-1) in a battle for the top spot in the Mid-Southeast District, White Division. The Knights will host Zumbrota-Mazeppa insteadMedford (3-1, 2-1) welcomes Randolph (3-1, 1-1) for a divisional game.

Triton (3-1, 2-0) is home against Chatfield (3-1, 2-1) Friday in a match-up for second place in the Southeast District, White Division. Entering this week, the Cobras, Caledonia, and Pine Island are all 2-0 in divisional games.

NRHEG (2-1, 1-1) is sitting out week 5 and is scheduled to host Norwood-Young America on Thursday, November 12.
