Game Day: Vikings Visit Bears Tonight at Soldier Field on MNF
The Minnesota Vikings are looking to claim their third straight win tonight when they visit the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in the Windy City.
After starting the season 1-5, the Vikings (3-5) are coming off their a 34-20 win against the Detroit Lions in Minneapolis. The Bears (5-4) lost to the Titans 24-17 last week in Tennessee.
The Vikings lead the all-time series against the Bears with a 60-56-2 record, although the Bears have won the last four meetings between the two teams. The last time Minnesota beat Chicago was on New Year's Eve on 2017 when the Vikes won 23-10 in Minneapolis.
The Vikings face the Bears again on December 20th at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Vikings will be without the services of tight end Irv Smith, Jr., cornerback Cam Dantzler, and defensive end Jordan Brailford. Additionally, offensive lineman Dru Samia tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, and will miss tonight's game.
For the Bears, quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is out tonight, along with defensive lineman John Jenkins, safety Sherrick McManis, and running back David Montgomery. Offensive lineman Sam Mustipheris listed as 'Doubtful.' Tight end Cole Kmet, linebacker Barkevious Mingo, wide receiver Allen Robinson II, and offensive lineman Jason Spriggs are all listed as 'Questionable.'
The Vikings are 3 point favorites against the Bears tonight.
