Popular Southern Minnesota Candy Shop Now Open During Remodel

No trip to downtown Owatonna is complete without a stop at Costas Candies, and until this past weekend, people have been incomplete as Costas was and still is in the midst of a remodel. The good news is you can stop into the nearly completed Costas during the week and weekend as the candy shop announced yesterday they will now be open, albeit, with the remodel still wrapping up.

The store made the announcement yesterday on Facebook, and people took notice!

The best news - We are OPEN! Weekdays 9-5:30 and Weekends through Christmas 9-3! We are not fully finished with the remodel, so there will still be progress reports happening, but we have been approved for opening, and we are SO excited to see you all over the Holiday Season. We appreciate your support, all of your patience, and your excitement for us.

For those wanting to stop by and pick up some holiday treats, the store will be open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5:30pm and weekends through Christmas from 9am to 3pm.

Costas just recently started making candy again, after being sold out in September, due to the remodel they are currently undergoing. The candy shop has been updating its fans and Owatonna residents on the progress through their Facebook page from the very beginning.

With the shop being open, and the remodel still taking place it's still a pretty good idea to practice patience this holiday season with friends and neighbors alike, as Costas once again will be one of the destinations for people when they head to historic downtown Owatonna.
