Owatonna Park and Rec Social Media Contest

To celebrate Park and Rec Month, Owatonna Park and Recreation is having a social media photo contest for July. Prizes will be given out in early August, with the big prize of a GoPro.

As you are out and about in one of the many Owatonna parks, trails or facilities such as River Springs Water Park or Brooktree Golf Course during this month, take a photo.

Contestants must "like" Owatonna Parks and Recreation Facebook page to be eligible.

Then post the picture on your or Parks and Recs Facebook page or Instagram including the tag #goplayowatonna. Each post is an entry and please only one entry per day.

In early August, winners will be chosen.

The contest prizes include:

• a GoPro Hero
• Free Bounce House Rental
• Five buy one, get one passes to River Springs Water Park
• A round of golf at Brooktree Golf Course.
