Owatonna’s ‘Read Around the World’

The Owatonna Kiwanis Club will host their annual "Read Around the World" event on Saturday, February 6, at the Owatonna Public Library. Hours will be 10-11:30AM with celebrity readers.

The program is designed for preschool to third-graders and will feature a free book giveaway. There will also be cookies and milk served.

Reading to the children on Saturday will be:

• Owatonna junior high student and author Megan Copland
• Owatonna High School Key Club president Anna Hagen
• Washington School fifth-grade teacher Matt McCartney
• Owatonna police chief Keith Hiller
• Owatonna Public Library Children's Librarian Darla Lager.

The Owatonna Kiwanis Club meets each Wednesday at noon.
