The Owatonna High School wrestling team assembled Saturday at the Monterey Ballroom in Owatonna to celebrate their season and present recognition to the award winners.

Peyton Robb, who won an individual state championship, was one of the wrestlers who picked up multiple awards. Robb was named Most Valuable Wrestler (MVP). He also tied Brandon Moen for the team lead in victories. Robb had the most pins on the season.

Justin Tacheny won the Chuck Seykora Most Improved Senior honor. He and Sixto Salinas earned Big Nine Scholar Athlete awards.

Big 9 All Conference: Robb, Moen, Tacheny, Christian Scheffert, Alex Green, Jathan Dettmer and Griffin Thorn.

All Conference honorable mention: Goy Tut

All State: Robb, Moen, Green and Tanner Cole

Owatonna Wrestling Association Service Award: Joe Green, who was the lead broadcaster for KRFO Radio in addition to being involved with the board.

Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association Publicity Award: Roy Koenig of KRFO Radio

Junior Varsity Most Valuable Wrestler: Christian Reese

Junior Varsity most pins: Reese and Josh Mueller
