OHS baseball scored a 10-3 win as the visiting team on their home field after the game was moved from Northfield due to field conditions there. Huskies' coach Tate Cummins breaks down a couple of big plays by Ethan Walter and Zach Wiese in this report.

Huskies' softball coach Jeremy Moran discussed the gauntlet of teams Owatonna has played to open their season. Recent games came against Mankato West and Northfield who he said could each threaten for section titles.

After having scheduled season opener postponed by wet field conditions on Monday, the Owatonna boys lacrosse team opened their season against Apple Valley Thursday in Farmington, due to field conditions in Apple Valley. Coach Scott Seykora was happy to open with a non-conference game for an Owatonna team that graduated most of their starters from last season. The Eagles won the opener 11-4.

Owatonna's girls lacrosse team played three games over a four day stretch. After winning their opener over Northfield, OHS faced a pair of tough teams in Lakeville South and Minneapolis Washburn according to coach Dan Paur.

OHS boys tennis has started their season 4-0 after a 5-2 victory over Rochester JM Thursday. We caught up with coach Curt Matejcek during a rain-delay at the OHS courts.
