North Carolina Man Arrested After Posing With Stolen $88,000
It's never a smart thing to steal from the place you work from, actually it's never good to steal at all. This genius didn't get the memo apparently as he is in hot water with the FBI after flaunting the stolen $88,000 on his social media accounts.
I make it look easy but this s**t really a PROCESS,
Arlando Henderson is, or I should say was, a bank employee in Charlotte, North Carolina who allegedly stole $88,000 from the banks vault according to the report from United States Attorney's Office Western District of North Carolina. Ironically, Henderson is seen in the above photo wearing a shirt that says AWBB or "Ain't Wit Being Broke". Most people, after committing a big crime, normally lay low and not post photo's with stolen goods on Facebook and Instagram, but not Henderson.
Throughout July and August 2019, Henderson used a social media account to post several pictures of him holding large stacks of cash,
A criminal indictment was presenting in federal court last week after the arrest of Henderson by FBI agents in San Diego. It was reported that Henderson stole cash out of the vault at least 18 different times. Not only did he steal a whole lot of cash, he also commented loan fraud while purchasing a luxury vehicle. US Attorney's Office stated that Henderson used $20,000 as a down payment on a Mercedes-Benz but then preceded to falsify bank documents to obtain a loan to pay off the remaining balance of the vehicle.
Henderson has been charged with two counts of financial institution fraud, 19 counts of theft, embezzlement, and misapplication, along with 12 counts of making false entries, which carry a maximum penalty of 30 years and a $1 million fine, per count, according to 10News out of San Diego. On top of that, Henderson was also charged with transactional money laundering, which has a 10 year sentence and a $250,000 fine.
Moral of today's story; if you're going to steal $88k in cash, don't flaunt it on social media for all to see.
