Minnesota Twins Youth Baseball and Softball Clinic Comes to Owatonna Saturday
The Play Ball Minnesota Twins youth baseball and softball clinic hits Owatonna's Manthey Park on Saturday, June 24. It's free and participants will leave with prizes.
Youth 1st of Owatonna, the Owatonna Bullpen Club and Owatonna Parks and Recreation welcome youth ages 6-16 to diamonds 1 and 2 at Manthey Park on Saturday morning. No preregistration is necessary. Boys and girls ages 6-9 will have their clinic from 9-10:30AM. Ages 10-16 get their turn from 10:30AM to noon.
Representatives of the Minnesota Twins will lead the youth in baseball and softball basics. Each participant receives a Play Ball gift and a free lunch. There will be drawings for several other prizes as well. A photo booth is also part of the event.
The Play Ball Minnesota website says the clinic is free thanks to the support the Twins Community Fund and Great River Energy. Click here for event flier. In case of bad weather, the clinic will be held at the Owatonna junior high school.
