Target and Apple are teaming up to launch a new shopping destination in a handful of stores across the nation.

Target says that it will double Apple's current footprint in selected stores and will include an expanded selection of products both in-store and online. The new Apple area in stores is expected to roll out this month in 17 stores, including Monticello, MN, 5 stores in Texas, 4 in Flordia, and the rest scattered throughout the country. They also plan to roll out more stores by the end of fall 2021.

The enhanced Apple experience will include Target team members who have been trained by Apple to demonstrate products and allow guests to try out a wider range of new products from Apple.

The dedicated space in Target stores will have new lighting fixtures and displays for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, HomePod, Apple TV, and other Apple accessories. Target.com will also be rolling out a new special area to offer even more Apple products and accessories.

Executive vice president and chief growth officer at Target Christina Hennington says, "Apple products are popular with Target’s guests, and this new, dedicated shopping experience offers enhanced service and expanded offerings, building on our strength as a go-to destination for electronics."

This isn't the first time that Target has teamed up with other partners to offer a unique experience, they've done similar projects with Ulta Beauty, Levi Strauss & Co, and Disney.
