Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Elgin man was killed Wednesday at an Olmsted County farm.

First responders were called to the site in the 4300 block of 75th St NE around 10:15 PM Wednesday by a relative of the victim. The relative found 36-year-old Nathan Holtegaard pinned under the front end of a corn picker that was inside a shed.

Efforts to revive Holtegaard were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

It appears the victim was working on the machinery at the time of the accident.

Holtergaard and his family hosted the Rochesterfest Breakfast on the Farm in 2006 and 2019.
