Love ‘A Christmas Story’? Spend the Night In The House
Of all of the holiday programs out there, I know many people that can't make it through the holiday without watching A Christmas Story. It has gotten so intense of a demand for this holiday icon that one network runs it continually Christmas Eve thru Christmas day, if for nothing else maybe they only have to have one or two people work short shifts over the holiday to keep the network on the air. I have watched it but have never been a huge fan.
But if you are an intense fan, starting June 1 you can spend the night in the Tremont House near Cleveland, Ohio. That's right, you get the house an hour after public tours close until 9 the next morning, with your choice of arrangements in the third floor loft -- with Ralph and Randy's twin beds, a queen bed and a sleeper sofa.
Rates vary depending on the time of year. In June it's $495 a night for up to six people. In November the rate goes to almost $1,000 per night. And in December from the 15th through New Year's -- hang on to your Red Ryder Gun -- it's $1,995.
