Kenyon Woman Injured Trying to Pass Tractor
Wanamingo, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Kenyon woman was hurt this morning in a traffic crash involving a piece of farm machinery.
The State Patrol says 55-year-old Cynthia Fugate was driving east on Highway 60 when she encountered a John Deere tractor traveling in the same direction. Her pickup collided with the farm machinery when she attempted to pass just as the driver of the tractor was turning left into the John Deere dealership on the west edge of Wanamingo around 9:50 this morning.
The State Patrol report indicates Fugate was transported to St. Marys Hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor, 69-year-old Richard Wille of Kenyon, was not hurt.
