Jamison Nears Retirement Date from Young Life
Longtime director of Young Life Owatonna Chuck Jamison announced his retirement recently. His last day on the job will be the end of July. Jamison was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town and pointed out that even those his days with Young Life Owatonna are almost over, he plans to still be involved with Young Life. The Owatonna chapter is part of what is known as the North Star Region, which besides Minnesota also includes chapters in North Dakota and South Dakota. Jamison will be doing some volunteer training for chapters in the region. He will also be mentoring some young staff in the region.
Jamison and his wife have four grandchildren and they plan on spending more time with them in addition to their work with the Young Life North Star region.
Jamison will still be on board for the 39th annual Young Life Golf Tournament. It's scheduled for Saturday, June 17, at Brooktree with a shotgun start at 8:30AM. Registration fee is $125 and for students college and younger it's $75. Price includes a cart, lunch, refreshments on the course, prizes and a celebrity driver on hole No. 4. You can preregister at the Young Life of Owatonna website or call (507) 451-9401.
