Big crowds attended fundraising events in Owatonna despite the inclement weather, or possibly because of it. The Owatonna High School gym was packed for the 40th annual Young Life cake auction. Later in the day big turnout was seen at St. Mary's School for its annual Night of Knights auction.
The parents committee of Owatonna Young Life announces that Lindsay Thompson will be the new Area Director, replacing Chuck Jamison who retired after last school year. Thompson will officially start in the post January 1, 2018.

The 38th annual Young Life Golf Tournament is Saturday, June 18, with an 8:30AM shotgun start at Brooktree Golf Course. Registration for adults is $125 and college students and younger are $75. The fee includes:
