It's on to the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester for the Section 1AAA semifinals for the Owatonna Huskies after making quick work of rival Albert Lea 60-9 Thursday in their final match of the season at the OHS gym. Owatonna jumped out to a 17-0 lead, only lost two matches, and had numerous first-period pins. The third-seeded Huskies will face the No. 2 Farmington Tigers at 1 pm Saturday, February 15 with coverage on AM 1390 KRFO and the KRFO app.

Cael Robb and Owen Thorn opened with major decisions according to the score sheet from The Guillotine wrestling website for an 8-0 lead. YJ Evillard pinned his opponent in eight seconds. Kanin Hable earned a 3-2 win for the 17-0 lead. After a Tigers decision, Jacob Reinardy got a pin to build the lead to 23-3.

Jerez Autridge won in overtime, beating state place winner from last year Cole Glazier 3-1. Landon Johnson won by fall for a 32-3 lead. The Tigers got their second and final win at 160 pounds. Kaden Nelson got a fall. Matt Seykora won by major decision. Ethan Stockwell picked up a quick pin in 22 seconds. Luke Effertz won by pin. Isaiah Noeldner won by forfeit.
