Huskies Girls Tennis Closes Regular Season with Victory; Soccer Teams Win

The Owatonna girls tennis team closed its regular season with a 6-1 victory at Mankato West to wrap up their Big Nine schedule with a 10-1 record. The Section 1AA team tennis tournament starts Tuesday October 3.

Owatonna's soccer teams each blanked Faribault. On the girls' side, the Huskies scored several times late in the first half on their way to a 5-0 win. The OHS boys scored twice in overtime for a 2-0 triumph.

OHS volleyball got swept by Rochester Mayo 3-0, 25-23, 25-18, 25-17.
