HOPE Center of Faribault Fundraiser Just Around the Corner

HOPE Center of Faribault Executive Director Erica Staab-Absher brings a guest with her today to appear on our AM MInnesota program.  The show begins 9:30 a.m.  They are having a fundraiser soon and want to get the word out about it.

"The mission of HOPE Center is the create zero tolerance for sexual and domestic violence through Healing, Outreach, Prevention and Education.  Through innovative programming they offer direct support to victims of violence in Rice County, collaborative support to other organizations that serve victims, and educational support to the entire community."  That Mission Statement is on their website. www,hopecenter.org.

They have resources for victims and those of us who may be friends of victims like how to help a friend who has been abused.  How to respond when someone contacts you about being abused.
