It feels so good to be mask-free, but we still have a ways to go in terms of vaccinations.

If you haven't received your vaccine yet, Monday is your moment! Get your one-and-done shot, and receive a nice large pour from Mineral Springs Brewery in Owatonna.

The brewery in Owatonna is partnering with HyVee to deliver Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines to locals from 4-6 pm on May 24th.

You'll have 14 tap options for your free beer. Some examples include Hope Chocolate Milk Stout, Lemond Lind Gose, Morehouse Hazy IPA, and Cinder Hill Cream Ale.

I'd personally really like to try the Saco Seltzer. (Man, I guess I should've waited to get my vaccine!)

You can find the brewery at 111 N Walnut Ave. There is no need for an appointment.

If you'd like to bring in food from local restaurants, you are more than welcome too!

The administration of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine paused due to reports of an increased risk for a rare adverse event called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). It's most commonly seen through blood clots with low platelets.

However, the CDC and U.S. Food and Drug Administration have reviewed all available data, and concluded that the benefits of the shot outweigh the risks.

According to the CDC, out of 8 million doses of J&J that were administered before April 23rd, only 15 cases of TTS were reported.

So, if you're looking for a sign to finally get vaccinated, here it is!
