Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - A house in Byron that hasn’t been occupied in about 25 years went up in flames Tuesday and the fire is being treated as an arson case.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says the house at 1445 7th St NE was reported burning around 6:30 p.m. It was engulfed when fire crews arrived and it was decided to let the blaze burn itself out.

There was no property in the house and the loss is unknown. The house was in poor condition and was described as abandoned.

The owner is listed as a family trust.
