The Farmington Fire Department responded to a house fire on Sunday night on Pine Street. Some neighbors stated that it was a lightning strike that started the fire as there were storms moving through the area. According to Fire Chief Jim Larsen, the cause is still under investigation.

Two people jumped from second-story windows and were transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with unknown injuries. A firefighter was also injured and was treated on the scene and transported to the Northfield Hospital. No other details are available.
